Team Deadwood was founded to present the only authentic European gold mining community and their lifestyle in Finnish Lapland. Our association stems from the respect for sustainable production of Lapland’s gold, an activity that is already some 150 years old.
The main mission of Team Deadwood is to familiarize the new generations with the gold prospecting, raise awareness and create general interest in the green and ethical gold. We are also happy to be cooperating with other associations and organizations of the same field.
